Awesome, awesome video. After much head scratching, checking wires, and replacing the multifuntion switch to no avail, I came across your video (at 2am). Seeing the path of the wiring spelled out in the video, I was able to trace the issue to a failing relay. Replaced the relay and brake lights are working again. A sincere thank you for putting this together.

I have a 2004 Silverado and the problem is with the Drivers side tail light. I have the running lights working but no signal/stop or hazards just on that back drivers side A tech changed them a year ago and paid them $500 and don`t want to pay another $$$$.
They switched out the original tail lights for Square LED tail lights.Any advice on where to look or start would be very much appreciated.

I replace the bulbs often. And not long after they burn out, they almost look like they caught fire before burning out. Black on bulbs.

had one brake light out, went to the dealer for an ignition switch repair (recalled part). they tell me both are now out. I replaced both bulbs, brake switch, and turn signal switch, in addition to checking fuse. top brake light works. hazards and turn signals work, which use the same bulb. 2004 Honda Element. suggestions?

Awesome job on the van. My 15AMP break light fuse keeps burning out on my 99 Tacoma.I observed both tail light wireing and only saw one kinked or cracked wire in the back drivers side (left?) tail lights which was also green with a white stripe so I spliced it with a little red crimp splicer.
