@JORDAN MCCOY, yes, it has the block on the rear from the factory!
Chris idk if you know this but im looking to get a 3″ leveling body lift
for my 1999 f150. It includes 2 torsion keys that allow me to go up 3″ in
the front and 3″ blocks in the rear. I know i can do this myself because
its not a hard process but my question is with the 3″ blocks for the rear,
will i need new shocks? Because im worried the taller blocks will extend
all of my travel in my shocks. What are your thoughts and opinions.
you can do this to a 2wd right
How much will adding a block lift my back end?
I didn’t even know you could do that. I’ve always hated the lower in front
look of my 2001 Edge, so many thanks for the excellent video!
Thanks for answering all my question man I appreciate it,still learning. So
is there a cheap easy way for me to get even more height anywhere on else??
Like lift the back end up without spending a lot of money or time? If so
how cheap/easy is it?
I feel sorry for your upper ball joints.
I dont know if thats enough for 33’s, i got a 3 inch lift in the front and
it can rub sometimes. But get 33’s they rock!
bad jack to risk your life?
Hey Chris, would I be safe doing this on my body lifted truck? I figure
this would level it out pretty well.
It’s a truck, not a car
cz joints? lol
does it do any damage to any other suspension components?
Can you send me the link to that front light bar thing. please, thanks!
I’m assuming if my camber is off they will tell me when I get my tires
aligned here n a few months? I don’t notice a pull or anything like that.
It doesn’t seem to ride any different and I cranked em prolly ten times
each. Also I have the same truck as u, I noticed my passenger side also sat
almost a half inch higher than my driver side did. But when I cranked them
up I set them both at almost the exact same height. Is that an issue? Why
is that side higher? Do I need to turn the bolt on the passenger side a
little more so it sits a touch higher or does it really not matter? I can’t
imagine it could make a difference…
And also my tires only have a little more life left anyway, or at least my
front ones, maybe a few more months. Is it worth getting a alignment and
paying that money when I will be getting new tires before winter anyway? Or
does that lift really throw things off where it would cause serious damage
to the tires that quickly?
Change the t bar, nothing wrong with that. It just makes to front really
rough.
I just done this to my ranger. and I had 33’s tsl’s. And now I have 35’s
swmpers and the T-bars made a huge difference.
Thanks for the help! So essentially those t bar bolts will screw in all the
way? I understand that’s a bad idea, mine still stick out almost an inch
after raising mine but you could screw those bolts in all the way and
probably get a lot more height out of it?
How is your allignment, any tire wear.
How is it now? Everything still good?
What if you tighten it more then 3 times?
Is this a 4×4 or a 2wd?
Trucks are lifted in the back for the anticipation of a load on the bed.
When you put a load now the leveling will be gone. Also, t bar lifts are
ghetto and make for a stiffer ride. If you are gonna lift your truck go for
a suspension lift that account for the change in the driveshaft angle. BTW
that would make your positive camber even worse. Not trying to talk shit
just saying.
If a guy was wanting to LOWER his ’98 Ranger using this method, Could he
match the front by removing a leaf spring (or two) outta the bundle in the
rear. “im sure there is a comment like this already, if thats the case just
ignore” Great Video btw Subbed
How much of an angle on those joints is too much Chris? I turned mine about
7 times each got me a little over an inch lift. I can see a angle for sure,
it’s a little more of an angle than what u show after adjusting yours.
Thanks!
