M H says:

If youre replacing both links you don't need to remove driveshaft

BlackhawkPilot says:

I am an old school guy and would never torque to 120 lbs in one go. 30 lb increments to distribute the stresses in the threads, hub and wheel. Warp or break a part once will eat up all the time you save in a lifetime of just torquing down to spec. One auto manufacturer even backs torque off and re-torques as explained in their technical manual but the shop manual only give the torque specification and not the process.

Robert Hortin says:

There’s no reason to remove the axle. It can be worked around multiple ways that are significantly easier.

james berry says:

No need to remove the drive shaft , I just used a comealong to from the frame hole to the sway bar and pull the sway bar back alittle to get the new part out and in , Simple

sunburninaz says:

I have a 2004 Expedition 2WD and it has a different LCA than in this video. I do not have access to get anything other than a deep socket on the sway bar end link nut. There is no way to have a wrench of any type on both the nut and the end link at the same time. Do you have any suggestions?

BOO BIZZY says:

Thanks man!!!! when I was taking it off I was wondering because the whole assembly was moving!!

Jacob Garland says:

Is there a video on diagnosing a bad sway bar link? I have popping sound when I turn sharply and the sway bar links appear to be loose. 2005 F150 FX4.

Southport 26 says:

What year is this truck? I have a 2006 FX4 F150 and my swayer end link looks 100% different. With that said I have a split bushing on my end link that needs replacing but after watching this video I am confused if i have a different swaybar?

ghostinthetreeline says:

Are there torque specs for the end link nuts?

jtjpilot says:

Hi, quick question….I have been having a shake in my steering wheel at about 45-55mph only when turning the wheel. When I am going straight, there is so shake. I have newer tires and they have been balanced repeatedly. Could worn sway bar end links cause the shaking? Thank you!

Vincent Hollaway says:

Great video

John Marsman says:

My link has a lot of pressure on it from the sway bar and I can't get it out…. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Kenneth Myers says:

Does this require an alignment when finished?
