Is it normal when you assemble a brand new rear together to have little bit of gear oil leak past the seals? I have a curry housing with a 31 spline set up all brand new and I was told to install it with a gallon of gear oil. Sitting on jackstands a little bit of gear oil drips out of the seals. Why is that if everything is new thanks for your help
Thanks man! I like the way you explain things. It makes sense when you say it haha
8:59 ICE CREAM TRUCK
good job on instructioning. Thanks.
Is the penny width critical on new axles and bearings? I pressed mine on until the bearing reached the shoulder. Is this going to be a problem?
Hi, I have a 12 ton HF press. Things pressed on a little then locked up. Plenty of lube oil. Think 12 tons is enough? Bending the table. Argh!
nice dude. love the channel!
Would synthetic grease be better than gear oil?
Cool man. Should I drain the 9in box before pulling these out? Or does that matter.
Use a little lube, a little butter sauce. Lol. Good video Manny! You always make your vids easy to understand and follow.
Cool, I have an 84 Z28 I bought new. My old 7 inch Chevy diff sings a little at 45 mph. Wish they had put a stronger unit there.
Can't wait for another video!
