This tutorial shows how to replace a motor / engine mount on a 2013 – 2016 Ford Escape. If you have excessive vibrations, or clunking of your engine when the engine is running, this is a fix that will change the way your vehicle feels and make it seem like new again.
The key thing here is to SUPPORT THE ENGINE when you detach the old mount and put the new one on. You just need a floor jack and wood block, and you’ll need an 18mm and 15mm socket and torque wrench aside from the other items to get under the wiper cowling.

Pretty good video. Very Helpful.
What brand of flex head ratchet are you using? Is it a 3/8 drive? Been looking out for a good 1/2 inch drive.
Are you planning on doing the Trans Mount or the Torque Strut mount ? I had the dealer replace the same mount in this video (under Ford ESP) but I still get a slight vibration when I am on Drive at a Stop Light, it does feel smoother though with the updated mount..
thank you for sharing
I want to state something from past experience with motor mounts – get the mounts from Ford themselves. It is different from aftermarket.
What was the results from the transmission issue you were having?
Great video!
I have a 2013 escape and just noticed an oil leak. Do you have any knowledge on these regarding a leak?
