Question: You torque the center bolt to 66 ft/lbs then back it off alot, re-tighten it to 37 ft/lbs, and then another 90 degrees?

Can a harmonic balancer bolt be loosened by putting two bolts in the pulley holes, as you did, then using a long screwdriver, with one hand, to keep the crankshaft from turning counterclockwise, while using a torque wrench, with the other hand to loosen the bolt, or will it break the bolts in the pulley, or even damage the harmonic balancer, etc.?
