thanks for this one great vid! Order placed, ordered both pairs.

Noah Palitti says:

Will this work on an 06 or 07

popmon says:

Well done and thank you. Very clear video with some details others leave out. Easy to follow.

Matthew Mischnick says:

1. If you're replacing the pads and not the rotors, you must have the rotors resurfaced. Where you purchased the pads will usually have this service. If the rotors are too thin to resurface, they need to be replaced.
2. using one of the worn pads with a large C-Clamp is another way of compressing the caliper piston without risking damage to the piston(s).
…and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, before you start, make sure the bleeder screws are not frozen up!…just in case.

Brett Bjornson says:

Can someone explain to me what foot pounds are and how I can make sure to tighten them to the specific numbers he said

Ronald B. Vega says:

What size of tire is that? Just curious.

meaneyed catz says:

Always enjoy the 1A videos. It is a good idea to remove the master cylinder lid prior to pushing the piston back into the caliper. And put the old pad into the caliper so the pliers don't muss up the piston or piston boot. If you have time bleed the brakes with a helper or gravity bleed them yourself since brake fluid absorbs moisture. You don't want the metal brake line to rust from the inside out, it'll ruin your day.

Northwoodscamper53 says:

So, you guys do a good job and it’s helpful when I’m teaching my son and he can go back and find a video to reference. He has the same Ranger as in your videos.
Thanks for helping me help him.

Steven Lardin says:

Do you have the pack the wheel bearing when changing the rotars and brakes?

Paul Posillico says:

You make it look so easy, but what do you do when those 15mm bolts are rusted and rounded how do you get them off

njnaturewolf says:

This is a very informative video, making it seem like an easy enough job. I do have a question : I have a 1999 Ranger, and at the part of your video where you clean the hub, there is a half circle of metal to the right that looks like shielding or backing. How integral is that part, and can it be replaced? Mine is half rusting away.

lesmeyer100 says:

Great video very clear. Thanks

Sabanybell says:

Thank you so much for this, I spent little over $200 doing it myself instead of $700+ from other Mechanic shop, you just save me $500. God bless you and keep up the good work.
