I just recently replaced mine on my 04 Ford F-150. It was super easy to do. The old part went out on me when I was pulling out from work yesterday and the fan stopped blowing so I knew exactly what was wrong.

Excellent video with great attention to detail. Very helpful and solved the problem quickly!

John Astrello says:

This works well enough, but the 2009 F150 has a different resistor (with a heat sink on it) than the one shown. It is not always a one-for-one over all years. Replacement is basically the same (two screws) – but the part is different. Check your parts carefully, before ordering. My 'cross reference' has the standard small body part with no heat sink.

Calvin Wilson says:

Thanks a lot.  Gave what I needed for my 2012 Expedition.
