You never followed up on the how-to program transponder keys!

maxmadjaxon says:

So if I have the old school ford key that's very small I can likely buy a non transponder tumbler and go

Greg Brown says:

What if you don't have a key for it.

Tanboy says:

Could you swap the ignition switch with a non transponder switch without effecting the vehicle?

605_ACE says:

If the old cylinder had the transponder key would you have to reprogram it or would it already be programmed

J- Kane says:

Can you install a transponder key and cylinder in an older truck? I have a 2002 f350 that didn't have one originally

crazy squirrel says:

Can you remove the lock and not leave the power on? Example: remove the lock, use screwdriver to turn vehicle off, go to a parts store the next morning, get a new lock, and come back to replace?
Could a screwdriver do that? And start the vehicle (without PATS) too?

James Barfield says:

I guess you could say I didn't get the Tumblr out because I didn't remove it in one piece but I'll tell you right now whenever I was stuck in the woods and whenever a buggy pulled up I dropped the keys somewhere but before he could even bring them cuz he found them right where we got in the truck needless to say I done took a screwdriver but then barbed wire pliers and I beat that b**** guts out all I had to do was pop the very end off and then you could just push the thing forward with screwdriver

James Barfield says:

Hey hopefully I can get an answer from the man who made this video but most people ain't going to change the m********* out even if it does that without the key people are going to change it because they don't have the goddamn key and it cost three or four hundred dollars if you're lucky for a locksmith to make a key so my point is how the f*** do you do it if you don't if you don't if you can't put a key in it and then turn it to the on position there's got to be a way that they remove it without the key being in the goddamn on position cuz unless you beat or drill that m***********'s guts out

tales527 says:

What if you can't turn the tumbler at all?

Teri and TL Stanbro says:

Shop Saturdays says:

a friend of mine started his with no key in it and now we can't get the key cylinder back in. how do you get disk in bottom of cylinder tube to realign to put new cylinder back in?

Jack Hayes says:

there is a small wire that is semi circular that fits into the top of the lock sleeve. it appear to be loose and creates a battery draining short. would you know if i might be missing a containing ring to hold this wire and electrical contact in the cylinder and sleeve ?
