Thanks, you just saved me a rental car and labor, I thought your video was
great and good tip about the caharging of the battery while replacing the
alternator.

FYI, before replacing the alternator on the Explorer, take the black back
cover off and look at the copper slip rings. Sometimes the brushes stick up
into the regulator and don’t make contact with the slip rings This is a 4G
alternator by the way.
Thanks for the video! Had my iphone and headphones with me and just
followed along step by step, thanks again. BTW, i didn’t have a breaker
bar, was able to use a socket wrench instead.
the video is dark and you cut off the things you do at end and jump to the
next part too quickly… the 2 wires on alternator connect to the same nut
????? you went to the next part too fast to let what you do completed …
please let me know thx
Just finished up. Your video was a great help. Thanks. FYI: for anyone
packing up tools to do this job off-site, the screws for my engine cover
were 9/32. Not 5/16.

thanks. that was exactly what we needed to see to get this done.
Pretty helpful, but can’t see where the breaker bar is inserted to release
the belt tensioner. Otherwise, good tut.
This was really helpful. Thanks a lot!
It would also help if you listed the tools needed in the description. Good
Video though.
Thanks for making this! I successfully installed a new alternator in my
1997 Ford Explorer today with the help of this video.
