mine on my 89 is tight behind the idle air control valve. I have to take the throttle body off then IACV off then the tps boooooo today is going to suck.

hope you have time to answer . well i am planning to change mine but in doing diagnostics on live setting i noticed that with my foot off the gas on the 1996 ranger 2.3 that is shows 18% throttle. never goes below that. i am having wierd shift problems with the transmission and a little idle fluctuation? is that normal position?
