If cranks are replaced will that make the window roll up and down easier?
Another question on my 93 Ranger….I don’t know what its called I want to
replace it. Its on the body frame of the truck just inside the door a
plastic strip that has cracked I’m constantly catching my foot on it
getting into the cab. I have no clue what it’s called so I can’t get a new
one…
If you put some white lithium grease on the regulator it should help free
the window up. It sounds like your talking about the rocker panel trim
piece. You might be able to get a new one at your local salvage yard.

You could try to drill out the broken screw and them tap the regulator so
that you could fasten the window crank handle with a new screw. Maybe try a
small EZ Out to see if you can get the broken piece out. If it will not
come out for you, you may need to replace the window regulator.
