I can’t believe how easy it was to replace the headlight bulb. Thanks.
Thank you for this post..I was about to call the dealer to have bulb
replaced and thought I’d do a search just to get a idea what was envolved
in changeing ..your video poped up and saved the day.. no idea it was this
simple..thank you
Thank you for this video. I never thought it would be so easy. All I was
wanting to do was adjust my lights and was not sure how to get to the
screws to turn them. Thank you and all the others who have made videos like
this to help with our vehicles so we dont have to take them to the dealers
or repair shops and give our hard earned money away when we can do a lot of
the small stuff ourselves. THANKS AGAIN! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.
do you know where a good place to mount a hid ballast on a 2002 ranger
would be.
thank you my friend for this video
Thank you for the video. I couldn’t figure out where the clips were or how
they worked. I won’t say that this procedure didn’t need tools, though. My
sturdy old screwdriver came in handy for convincing stubborn parts to move.
@93Purpleranger Looks like you are right, may have hit a 3 instead of an 8.
the procedure is not the same i dont have tabs on my headlights and i got a
99 ford ranger
Thanks for watching our videos. 1aauto.com 888-844-3383
Awesome !! Thank you !
Thank you for your videos I have a 93 Ranger that I have replaced blubs
both front and rear, Rear tail light and both headlights have saved me time
and money…Last time I had a tail light replaced was 20.00 could not
believe how easy it was…
Thanks :o) I looked at the headlamps before I looked this up and had NO
idea what to do. Thanks a heap again
@joshuaGFU The procedure is the same. The lights are different year to year.
The procedure for my 1997 Ranger is different. The headlight assembly
doesn’t have the same lift latches or adjustment screws. Your video was
helpful in that I easily replaced the bulb as you showed but without
removing the assembly.
Somewhere that’s away from the elements should be fine.
@1aauto I have a 93 Ranger what is the difference in changing the headlight
as stated above I just need a blub but have to take it apart to get to
it…lol
awesome video, used to have a 96 ranger and was upset i couldnt get my
hands behind there to put new silverstar bulbs in my 2010 ranger. didnt
even know it had those tabs till i watched this. thanks again!
You’re welcome. Thank you for checking us out. Have a great day!
This wont work for 93-97 except taking the bulb out. This would most likely
be for 98-10 rangers. The title should be changed….
Thank you thank-you. Thank you

@joeldude76 Hmmm, looks like you are right. Thanks for pointing that out.
be careful separating the old bulb from each socket the plastic latch is
pretty crappy I broke half of the latch on the driver side light and just
duct taped it together after words.
THANK YOU!!!
Great video, but you mention in the video that the headlight assembly is
pretty much the same from 1993. I have a ’93 and it’s nowhere near the same.
Thank you very much. Very helpful since I bought a 96 ranger with no owner
manual. Thanks, Dwight
@LurkerNDDark Agreed never hurts to have a few tools around especially when
you need to do a little “convincing”
@rhapsody5876 You’re welcome. Have a great day!
Thank you so much! I have a Subaru Legacy and a Ford Ranger, and learned
how to change the headlights on both from your videos. For the Ranger, I
was trying to figure it out myself and after looking at it and not seeing
the tabs, I was preparing myself for a whole ordeal. After watching this
video I’m really excited that its going to be so easy, and I can’t wait to
get home from work to change my bulbs. It’s been a long time since I’ve
been this excited to work on my vehicle – Thanks!
