VALENTINO WEST says:

Do you have a video on how to replace the door jamb switch? I know its
right where the latch is, but I don’t really know how to remove and replace
it.

Anisa Lignell says:

My daughter and I have to replace mine tonite and this video has been
awesome. Thank you!

William Baldwin says:

My truck is a 2002 F150, the switch on the drivers side panel won’t
lock/unlock the passenger side lock. Could this actuator be the problem or
could it be one of many issues?

1A Auto Parts says:

Here’s a link to a few different kits that we offer at a fraction of the
cost of the dealer. Just copy and paste into your browser.

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not. You may be able to apply some of the basic steps taken
in this video to your truck. We do carry new door lock actuators for your
2001 F150 with free shipping on our website 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Great video…helped us immensely!

StormesRacing says:

I have the same truck but my truck doesn’t have power door locks do you
have a video installing an aftermarket actuator?

kryptonken1 says:

Ive been looking for a 1992-1996 Ford f150 Door Latch Rod, but I cant find
any online. Does anyone know where I can get one? A Ford dealership gave me
a part number… F2TZ-1522135-A…

crazyvera says:

Can you do a video on how to repair a rear door which will not open at all
on a 2002 ford pickup or send me any information on how to repair it.
Thanks.

25TheBurg says:

I recently bought a 2006 F-150 and when I removed the door panel to replace
the actuator, the plastic cover that you removed and laid flat had been cut
and re-taped. Is that piece crucial?

1A Auto Parts says:

The plastic sheet is a weather barrier so it is recommended that you
replace that with a new one or secure the original on back into place.

1A Auto Parts says:

Thank you for you order. If you have any issues at all call out toll free
number 888-844-3393 and one of our customer service reps will help you out.
Have a great day, thank you for visiting us on YouTube.

Bushcraftarizona says:

I am going to fix this problem tomorrow. However, my rear window has to
have the switch rocked several times to get it to work. Is there a cleaning
method for the cable and can a grease be used on it.

William Baldwin says:

Yes the actuator is bad. Ford wants $405 for the assembly kit for it! Do
you have a better price?

1A Auto Parts says:

You may be able to put a little bit of white lithium grease on them to keep
them moving freely. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to try your local dealer to see if they can get a replacement
one for you. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

If your asking how to convert manual door locks to power, we don’t have a
video that shows you how to do that.

25TheBurg says:

where can I purchase the replacement barrier?

jbwithro says:

Great video, thank you! After watching this video I ordered the part for my
2004 F150 FX4 (with keypad access) and was able to completely disassemble
my door and get the actuator out…only to find out that I had the wrong
part! My actuator has two (2) plugs on it so I have since ordered another
actuator (Dorman 746-163). Hopefully this is the correct one for my truck!
I’m sure I will be re-viewing this video on Wednesday when my part gets
here! Thanks again!

Jake Pulliam says:

I have a 2000 Ford F-150 and the rear sliding window weather stripping is
gone.. where can I find some more weather striping?

StaticNova says:

Very nice video.

PatriotMuscle says:

Do you have a video for the same job on a 2001 F150?

1A Auto Parts says:

You could try your local Ford Dealer.

1A Auto Parts says:

If there’s power going to the actuator and it’s not popping, it may be the
actuator that is has gone bad.

William Baldwin says:

Yes it is the actuator. Ford wants to charge $405 for the whole kit. What
is your price? (the whole assembly not one part of it please)
