very clear and practical, thanks!
Great Video Chris! Saved me a lot of time and $$$$$
Whats the name of the tool used to push the pistons back
Huh… Good to know. Thanks for the information. I have never seen that on
any of my fords or fords I have worked on, but I guess there are many types
of Fords out there.
The rear brakes on Fords usually have screw piston calipers meaning the
piston needs to be turned as it is pushed in. The basic tool used in this
video will not work. You need to use one that has knobs matching the
grooves in the piston to turn it as it compresses.
Great! No prob! Thumbs up the video if you havent already, thanks!
Bout to change pads on my girls ford, thanks for the video.
Haha, well at least it is easier now! Thanks for the comment! Thumbs up the
video if you haven’t already!
Should have watch before I started took it all apart instead of just
hinging it open thanks made my night a lot easier
Did you unscrew the cap off your master-cylinder reservoir (where you put
the brake fluid)? Sometimes that does the trick. If not, then I would try
pumping the brakes… Are you using the tool I used in the video?
Thanks, give the video a thumbs up if you havent already. Helps make the
video more searchable!
What do you do when the piston wont compress?
GREAT tutorial!
Thanks man! Means a lot! Glad I can teach you!
Thanks man! Glad it helped!
Great video’s Chris! Your a life saver!
Ive watched like 8 videos on brakes and yours is the best. You are a good
teacher. Thanks!!
That is awesome! Make sure you keep learning and try your hardest! It isnt
easy to become a good mechanic. Anyone can be a lazy, bad mechanic, but the
good ones are few and far-between! Keep it up and thanks for the comment!!!!
