I see a Probe!

spelunkerd says:

It took me a while to realize that the fuel pressure reg controls fuel flow
back to the gas tank. This means that when vacuum suddenly drops with snap
throttle to accelerate, the valve closes, reducing flow back to the tank
and increasing volume available for combustion. Cool design.

I replaced the fuel pressure regulator on my wife’s 99 grand am, it was
that kind that said made in USA on the top like yours, it failed in less
than a year. I about to put an AC Delco one on it, hopefully it will last
longer.

Erik Soto says:

what camera did you use to record this if you don’t mind me asking…

Yup! Thanks

I don’t know a thing about cars, I wish I did, mine is all to pieces and
runs weird, jerks, engine light comes on and off every few seconds, its a
night mare! However, that being said, Ben I really liked this video,
watched the whole thing. Loved the three starts and battery kicker. But I
really enjoyed you talking a the end. That was Great. Uncle Raggy

TheTarrMan says:

Trikes are fun.

TheTarrMan says:

Thanks, Ruffles and Dr Pepper sounds good, lol.

daddytech says:

looks simple enough, I get all my parts off of ebay usually except for
brakes and batteries that is. kinda looks like you could use an exhaust
gasket or at least a donut on that thing if it has one.

daddytech says:

well, it’s a ford and you have no room because of the way everything is
just crammed in there so i totally understand that one. lol

“Forgive my national pride”? What the fuck?

Zack Yert says:

Regulators are exspensive for our cars 🙁

BATMEX44 says:

I didnt see a fuel pressure reg. repair ..but a replacement.!

TheTarrMan says:

It was burning off all to gas that was flooded the intake, that’s why it
sounded like a lawn mower, lol. It sounds back to its good old self now.

TheTarrMan says:

Yea, unfortunately I only have the 2.0 four banger. The GT has a 2.5 V6.
This is running 100% better and should have no problem making it to
Louisiana.

mbarizia says:

recently i had the same symptoms but turned out it was CTS (coolant temp
sensor) driven me crazy before figuring out that was just the CTS

TheTarrMan says:

Lol, very tempting.

dzdeal says:

the fuse trick won’t work on these cars. the injectors and fuel pump
sharing the same fuse.
