its actually easy,I did mine today less than 20min ,I didn’t have jack it
up,you can get that tool from advance auto for 7bucks

good to know there is a special tool…. thanks for video.
it’s just a standard fuel line remover tool, advance, auto zone,and
orielly’s have it…..when you get that tool, you only use it on one side
of the fuel filter, the other side have 2 tabs you mash with your fingers
to release it ,it’s a blue tab!. But make sure!!, I can’t stress this
enough, b4 you take it off or start releasing the tabs pull your fuel pump
fuse out and crank your truck and let it stall then try and crank it again
to make sure the fuel is out the line. good luck!
