I tried to use the release clips that came with the filter but didnt
release the line on all sides. I used a top from a Sharpie marker, cut it
in half and sliced it down the middle.
Old filter had clear gas on the output/engine side but rusty orange fuel on
the fuel tank side of the filter. Worked for me on a ’06 Lincoln Mark LT
pickup. Truck was loosing power uphill on bridges as if transmission was
slipping.
