What if the cam accidentally goes in backwards and you need to get it out to fix it would you turn it the opposite way then like for accessory?

The reason I was doing it at all was to inspect my ignition switch for I'm getting crank turnover and after checking all the relays it still shuts off the fuel injectors so it won't get power to the engine I own a 97 Ford expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4 l four wheel drive two valve
The black and red wire is also not connected it looks as if it were cut or something else
I've removed the lock cylinder in that as you showed in instructed but I found a black and red wire which is thin but coming from a little black box under my steering is that in part for possibly the past key or was it something installed or disconnected that may not been by Ford but the prior owner
Apologies…I wanted to follow up with the fact that I did replace the power steering pump a couple months ago but unfortunately there has been air in the line so it has been making a slight whining sound for awhile….not near as bad as before the replacement though. I am taking the truck to rotate the tires next week and will bleed the lines then, but I just wanted to bring that up in case there is a correlation. Thanks.
Hello sir. Great video. The ignition on my 02 f350 SD Diesel suddenly became really stiff to turn. I replaced the ignition cylinder with a new one, but it is still really stiff when turning the cylinder to start the truck…., Any suggestions?

I happen tp have a key with a "transponder" a chip on they key, how do i REKEY my new cylinder to the old key .? Other way, my truck wont turn on
