Great work thanx and you were spot on.

Andrew S says:

Hey man thanks for the great video! I have been troubled with this code P1450(unable to bleed fuel tank vaccum) and still have not found a solution. I have changed the purge flow solenoid as well as the vent solenoid attached to the charcoal canister box. Forsccan data shows 3D 81(blocked evap system line-fault confirmation test) not ready, and 3D 82(vapor blocking valve perfromance) not ready. For some reason it is never able to test. Any idea of what you think can be causing this? I have a 2016 ford f150 5.0. Thanks so much!

Keith Martin says:

I changed purge valve and vent valve still have the code any ideas? 05 expedition

Mike George says:

I got 3 codes
P0130
P1450
P. 2148

Thanks for the help

2014 ford fiesta: Check engine light intermittently turns on, no other symptoms (just filled the car up today to see if it would sputter or stall – nothing). Can I just go about my business until worse symptoms appear or do you recommend I fix it asap

Adam Lanemann says:

Thanks.
I changed my purge valve twice in 30 days. The check engine light went off but the valve is ticking like crazy.
Any tips?

Nick Gescheider says:

Hi Mason, good video…I have a 2016 f150 xlt 3.5 eco and I'm getting the p1450 code for the second time…I took to the ford dealer and they replaced the filler tube…meet that code popped up again….my truck doesn't have that kind of purge valve you show in your video….maybe ford used a different type on that year…was wandering if you have any advice on what I should bemlooking for since I believe I have a different style purge valve?? Thankd

Alexis. M says:

Question: I have error code P1450 on my 2015 Ford Fiesta. However, the check engine light comes on and off and I only have problems starting after filling up every so often. My check engine light then went away and I ended up passing my emissions test so I wasn't going to sweat fixing it ASAP. I've been putting it off for a month now but my car ended up dying last Friday as I was in an intersection at a red light. The shop said Alternator and Starter and battery are all good and I was able to drive home after pulling over to turn my car on and off after it stalled for a sec!? Any advice? I'm not sure if replacing this will help?

Travis Trimble says:

I’m having the code for 16 eco mustang, very obnoxious and embarrassing every time I fill up and it won’t stay running unless I gas it

Cruz says:

Hi where is it the location for a 2016 ford fusion se 1.5l I cannot find it and it’s driving me insane! I checked online and they are not the same engine as mine therefore the location is not that same please let me

Rod Linton says:

Are you sure there should not be a "pull" on the vacuum value? I got the error code P1450 on my 2014 Ford Escape after an oil change. After taking the hoses and clipped wire lines off and checking the vacuum (which was pulling), I reassembled it and the engine light went off. I'm wondering if the cheap oil change place loosened a hose when uncovering the air filter. Last thing, thanks for the video! I would not have known what I was even looking for without it!

Jessica Fulbright says:

Just had this pop up last night, where could I find the part for a 2015 edge ecoboost

Moby Abbas says:

Thanks for the video. What is the part no for 2018 Ford Escape 1.5L eco boost?

Cruz says:

So I have a 2016 Ford Fusion 1.5L I’ve been having this issue so I replaced the purge valve filled up wouldn’t start until I pushed the gas while it cranks ok went ahead replaced the Vapor Canister
Vent Solenoid filled up again before heading to Vegas it cranks little struggle but it started alright no check engine light filled up over there before heading back home again struggled used the gas while it cranked and now still have this code, anything else you recommend to replaced?

Catbird1 says:

It's a shame that these purge valves are failing at an alarming rate. We have Ford explorers in our LE department. We're going on our second round of replacing the purge valves. My opinion is that the rubber seal in the valve is NOT compatible with ethanol fuel. Causing the rubber to harden up and creating a bad seal. I don't like ethanol fuel because it cost consumers a lot of money. Including lower fuel mileage range also. So you tell me how that's better for the economy.

Kevin Alexander says:

I have a 1450 code on a 2006 Escape. It has the older purge valve with two lines. Do I check the lower line for vacuum? The upper line goes to the intake manifold.

TexasGunner says:

Thanks. Very informative

Drew Adams says:

Where is it on the 2019

themidnightorb says:

Where is the purge valve located in a Ford escape 2001?, I was looking for 5 minutes and couldn't even see it.

TY Kwon says:

Thanks for the video, so far the most detailed but straight forward as well. I have 2016 Ford Edge Ecoboost. Can you tell me the exact part number and will it be easy like in your video or will it have a different hose system due to being ecoboost?

Mac Knight says:

Part number?

Tim Hornswaggle says:

Great video, thx. Quick question. I’ve got a 2019 edge 2.0 SEL. Orielly sold me a purge valve canister but it appears I need to replace the entire “spider hose” assembly. Does that sound right? Thanks!

Juael Lopez says:

2015 fusion 1.5 eco boost p1450 part number

dave C says:

Fantastic and to the point….. thank you …. Your a credit to your profession….job well done

Julie Rehoric says:

so I just change my air filter and took that big black plastic tubing off and put it back on I thought it was a simple job perhaps I knocked something loose because now I hear a sucking farting sound coming from the spot where you fill your gas and I'm wondering if it's related because no check engine light is coming on

Bob Mennig says:

Changed the whole valve assembly about 2 years ago on my 2016 Ford Escape Titanium. Don’t remember the code. Just recently after filling up got P1450. Glad you showed how to rule in the solenoid. Is there a way to rule out the large valve assembly part? If I can get suction when I disconnect from solenoid does that mean it’s okay?
