Bullshitkorner says:

the bearing is the whole hub assembly, and it’s expensive shop around. I got it from ford for 650ish

keltingr says:

so the bearing includes all new metal hub assembly or you just cleaned it up that well? looked shiny

Bullshitkorner says:

i would assume if it isn’t exact the procedure would be very similar

Kaleb A says:

would this also be a similar job for an 08 f250. I would assume not much changed

Bullshitkorner says:

it’s actually pretty easy to do

Hawkerdude67 says:

Thanks for taking the time to post this. This is next on my to-do list and you’ve put my mind at ease that I should be able to tackle with minimal difficulty. Thanks!

Bullshitkorner says:

nope just bolt up and your done, there is a large o-ring around the bearing but that should be already installed

MrRexquando says:

Are their any seals/fiber washers you have to replace when changing bearings?

MrRexquando says:

Looks cold!

ROSAIN gerald says:

the bearing did not “fail” those oversized wheels and tires killed them

JUAN HUERTA says:

Come on down. I’ll do it for half. I’m in LA.

JUAN HUERTA says:

Coleman ML-56 for 22 bucks. I went thru 4 sets of snap ring pliers before I went out and hunted down a Tool Truck. LoL. Good times.

Bullshitkorner says:

without seeing it first hand, i’d start to blame a wheel bearing, or perhaps a hub, or even look for any damage to whatever side is making the noise

monica foster says:

i have a 2006 ford 350 turbo 6.0 diesel when 4×4 is engaged drives fine but when u turn corners it sounds like it is grinding metal to metal

Dale BIGD says:

whats the part number for the inner bearing so i can buy it before pulling the hub

mchugh69 says:

Yeah I just came from a ford dealer they were going to charge me $800 to do both of them

Robert says:

The inner wheel bearing that is replaceable, can those things be cleaned or repacked or are they a non serviceable item??? Good video. Just want to mention 1 thing to other people. My rotor was on pretty good and I put 2 bolts into the holes where the caliper bolts in. Slide the nut on 1st and then put a nut on,put a used disc pad on rotor and turn the bolt to take up space between pad and end of bolt, ( top N bottom ) Thx for taking the time for this video!!!

haloguru101 says:

ok thanks a lot, this thing is seriously pissing me off haha

Bullshitkorner says:

oh yes that snap ring is a bitch, i actually went to snap on and got a pair of snap ring pliers that would work on that ring. you can’t use a cheap pair and that snap ring needs a lot of force to get it off. I can’t remember the part number but look for my video f350 hub went bad and took out inner bearing and I have a short section where i showed what the snap ring pliers look like and tips to get it out

haloguru101 says:

hey do you have any tips on removing the snap ring after you remove the locker? i’m doing the same job and im having a hell of a time getting the damn snap ring off, any tips would be much appreciated

TheMrawesome04 says:

You gotta be kidding me. Couple hours? Heck I did this in 1/2 a hour. Tops! Seriously.

Bullshitkorner says:

you can only replace the inner bearing, the rest of the unit is one piece

3lkhntr says:

Can you rebuild the entire hub or is there some parts just not available?

Arthur Eng says:

I have a 1992 F-350 4X4 Crew Cab, Just noticed my passenger side front differential is lifteted on a jack stand and it seems like my wheel broke off cause i move it back and forth i can see through the back some greassy bearings. Is this a hub assembly that failed?

rumerboyz says:

So is it normal for my u-joint to be locked up even in the free setting?

Bullshitkorner says:

they are auto hubs and my axle on the passenger side stayed locked as well

rumerboyz says:

Are those auto hubs, or manual hubs? They say auto/free, or free/lock on them? I’m having an issue with my u-joint staying locked on my passenger side. Even in the free mode!

Bullshitkorner says:

the bearing is the hub assembly on the f250/f350 trucks, it isn’t like a 2 wheel drive or some 4x4s where it’s a small bearing. Watch the video that whole assembly i removed and reinstalled is the bearing

LovecraftsmanGT says:

You did not show how to do the bearing replacement ! Why?

LovecraftsmanGT says:

You did not show how to do the bearing replacement ! Why?

Bullshitkorner says:

To be honest I don’t know they were on the truck when i purchased it a few years ago, I really liked the rims but everybody now seems to have the same or a similar style rim.

kayem25 says:

I like your wheels. What are they?

MyHappyshit says:

hi wen the tire jacked up spin the tire no noise but if you are driving at low speed and turn the wheel it crackle.it is on dodge i done a lot of wheel bearing but this sounds funny.I got to it today hope that is the problem.Good video by the way nice truck.keep up the good work.
