$30 is a lot of money when you can get it for 10 a bicycle shop. They are
brake cable ends and they work the same.
For the installation of the other end, do you just remove the old plastic
sleeve and put on the new aluminum one? I am not exactly clear on how it
works because the other end hooks into the door latch. thanks for your help
in advance
Went to my local bike shop but they didn’t have the size I need. So I order
this part for my rear door window upper cables. Suicide door on my 2004
lariat. Work great.
Brillently simple fix. Have two doors with upper latch issue. This saved
me about $270, since you have to buy the entire latch kit to make the
repair otherwise. Nice job!
You can also use pliers to crush those plastic things on each of the cable
ends.:)
Great product,used it to fix one of the cables on our F350 at work! Being
in the landscaping business for the past 8 years hardware gets abuse over
time and these are great replacements for the job!
I’ve always had issues with the cables breaking on my F-150, this fixed it

best $30 I have spent on door latch repairs….I originally bought
replacement cables (built the same as the originals) for thr rear cargo
door of my E-250 that will likely need replacement again. The side cargo
door needed replacement/repair, so I tried this option. With these the
cable will have to fail before they need replacement.Very easy repair too!!
