In this video, i demonstrate how to fix the P051B “Crankcase Pressure Sensor” code on this 2018 Ford Escape SE with a 1.5L Ecoboost. This repair will work for any Ford with the 1.5L ecoboost engine. Please do this repair at your own risk!
I did this repair with items i had in my shop so it cost me no money, just time. You may not have all of the same items in your possession, so it may cost you a few dollars to do the repair. At the time of the upload, a replacement part from Ford Motorcraft which includes both the PCV hose and sensor costs $100-$150.
