Hi Scotty, Purchase a used 2007 kia rondo with 140k for 2200$. with the
advise of the mechanic who said it was a good buy. the engine light has
been on and after the mechanic ran test reset it. i was told it was the up
stream 02 Senser needed replace 280. got it change then he said it was the
down stream and will need additional 280 for replace and labor… now
engine light is still coming one. he told me it was reading code p2095
and not sure what the issue is. just wondering should i take it to the kia
dealership for diagnostic? thanks for you help love your Vid…..
my check engine light comes on during my freeway drives. once im at about
3000rpm for a little bit the check engine light comes on. As soon as i left
off the gas the light turns off and a accelerate again back up to speed. 5
min later is pops on again. Rinse and repeat. What could cause this? (1988

Hey Scotty I have a 2002 mitsbushi galant ls and I literally just paid 800$
for the emissions including new cat manifold and egr and the mechanics at
shells are good people and erase all codes so the light goes off. But it
still goes on after 2 miles they’re not sure either why does this happen

hello mr. kilmer I have a 2003 ford Taurus and the rpms are idling up and
down and the engine light is on I have replaced the pcv valve and elbow and
also did a tune up and replaced the coil pack. it runs fine when the air
conditioning is on as long as i’m driving no problem but when I stop at a
light or anything it acts like it wants to cut off and the rpms are jumping
please give me some tips as to what you think the problem could be thank
you.

good one, thanks for uploading, i have a very simple question, i bought a
used car and when i just turn ON ignition key in parked position with doors
closed without starting engine, “Service engine soon” light shows with
other lights like seat belt, break, oil level , they all goes away once i
start engine, is this normal? I read from manual that its normal, but
wanted guidance from an experienced person, I might have not noticed this

Hi Mr. Kilmer, the mechanic plugged in the tester to check the “Service
engine soon”, but the tester does not receive electricity from the car.So
it can not be read. PLEASE what can he do? i got a mini van chevrolet

White smoje was coming out of my car while driving then the engine lights

car care on my own-it’s like learning to speak Latin, only harder. I have a
2001 Ford Focus that just passed smog on Friday then check engine light
came on last night (Sun), Code says it’s Bank 1 system too lean. I noticed
for some time that it seemed like I need to refuel too often but I thought
it was bad gas mileage, driving too much and using the air conditioning.
The fan seems to run a lot but it’s been in the 100’s lately so I can’t
tell if it’s running hot or just the weather. Any thoughts?

and still I get check engine light I actually failed vehicle immisions test

working on and obviously you can’t show us how to change spark plugs on
every make and model of car out there but your videos do help a ton. Is
there a website you would recommend that shows you repair manuals or videos

I have a 2012 civic si with only 12k on the clock. Check engine light came
on, and my regular mechanic pulled the codes: bad gas cap or something.
Told me he wouldn’t fix it because it’s under warranty, didn’t want to
charge me. If I buy a new gas cap, will the check engine light go off? Or
do I still need someone to reset it for me? Sorry I’m an idiot!
Hi Scotty, I have a 2007 ve commodore. I don’t know all the much about
cars, so if I sound stupid please don’t get annoyed! The first problem I
had, was the car was overheating and I had to stop at one point because I
noticed the Temperature Gage was rising very fast. I topped up the coolant
in it, but no change. So the next day I took it in to get fixed and
serviced. A water pump had to be replaced and it just had a general
service. It ran okay for about a month and then once again the engine light
started showing, the car is not overheating but Engine light is going on
and off very often. Also it comes up on the dash with “Stability control
off” most times when I break and starts beeping. It is very frustrating as
I have spent so much money on this car and I drive very smoothly, but it is
one problem after another. Any ideas on why these things are happening? :)
Hi! Scotty! I watched the video “fixing a car with multiple trouble codes”
And I did that (erase the codes, a week a go) the check engine light is
not come back. (the only thing i did was: clean the sensor under the
battery. thanks. Dont know it the problem is fixed!

Hey Scotty cumin there this is fred don’t know how can I check engine light
or any of the other cold likes don’t come on the transmission acts up
electronic part of the vehicle and got the letter and 2008 Equinox Sports
edition weathered replace the transmission on a reverse gear when I know
I’m surprised and then the transmission was acting up in there in the cold
than pop up let us know what the trouble was with an S has spent a lot of
money but I don’t think we had a factory transmission all that some other
brand transmission in it and then it didn’t seem like it act right and
they’re still not working right and another part of that didn’t go into
drive it kept backing up into finally cleared cleared itself then there but
the tow truck driver says on there is not having to do with the computer I
said it does have a lot to do the computer on the transmission but don’t
drive up with the car cars not going to work right in my right about that
