i change my oil with synthetic about every 10000km or once a year whatever
comes first. There is no harm changing it twice a year

Hello Bullshitkorner, my mechanic replaced my engine mount and and said he
needed to change the oil in my transfer case saying it was black. Well he
went ahead and did so but now the truck is making a funny sound when in
drive or if I slightly step on gas. It fades a little after a steady 40
mph, I dont know what this guy did but maybe you can help me.

When i left i was working for Calfrac Well services, out of strathmore when
they had a shop there, but worked mostly out of Red Deer and GP. I started
in the oil patch at 18 doing Pipeline, then did Seismic for a bit and short
stint at drilling
