Did it take care of the noise when you were done?
You need to actually need to keep the bottom bolt going to the control arm loose and put the tire back on and lower the vehicle then torque down otherwise the bushing will wear faster and you'll just be doing this again
Great video, very helpful. Do you know the torque specifications for installing the rear shock?
If I'm just replacing the strut itself, I'm assuming that I have to take apart the old strut from the upper mount??? Is this difficult?? I noticed in your video that you had the new strut already attached to a new mount with boot??
Great video. I'll be doing very soon.
I am trying to order a shock part for my 2013 ford escape, but I am not sure about the name of the part, can you please email me the number of the part you order and its name just to be safe. thanks monamax766@yahoo.com
Do you need an alignment after this?
Great video he was able to edit the video to under 5mins showed the key parts as well as tools needed 10/10
Thank you for taking the time to make and post this video. It was very helpful. In my case the 2 top nuts were stuck to the studs and the studs came right out. When inserting the nut/stud back in for the new shock, I lost it. For anyone else that this happens to, the correct bolt you need for this is 8×1.25x25mm. Thank you again.
Nice!!! Straight to the point!!!
thanks for the video.. where from did you buy the shocks and how much you paid ? thanks again …
