Jimmy!!!! Since Malco does not make a needle nose locking pliers, who’s got the best??

@djosbun says:

Brodix makes THE BEST cylinder heads for the performance aftermarket. I would use nothing else but Brodix. Great choice, Jimmy!

@samrugtiv3839 says:

Looks like rings are bad also ring wash

@pomaicarpenter4315 says:

Wow this was like watching Mozart or Picasso

@samrugtiv3839 says:

You better buy a shot block.

@samrugtiv3839 says:

That's why the push rod bent

@raresvintea1 says:

Oh man, so much trouble with this engine, i would strip it down in case of other flukes, LS swap?

@StevesAutoNtrucks says:

I'd pull the pistons new rings and give it a light hone since you're this far

@NikHimself says:

Heh Jimmy. Sorry about this catastrophe of an engine, friend. Watching and supporting you however I can. This is an opportunity for me to learn more from you as you do the part rebuild of this engine. Reminds me a lot of VGG who does tons of these and revivals. My temperament and attitude is more like his.

@StevesAutoNtrucks says:

comp cams mutha thumper

@SubmarineSquid says:

Wowee! This is crazy. Is there a point that you would "stop throwing good money after bad?" The names Sno Ball and Gob Stopper are a little negative. Maybe a better more positive name might be, "Might as well." Just like Forrest Gump, " figured, since I'd gone this far, I might as well turn around, just keep on going." Like when talking about tappets vs. rollers, "Since I've already went this far, I might as well use roller rockers." LOL…

@thk7513 says:

That introduction to a local alligator is looking better!

@wolleysegap9740 says:

When Jimmy pulls his finger pointer out, things are about to rock.

@wolleysegap9740 says:

Wow ! New jewellery for the C10.

@jamesu says:

Thanks for bringing us along. Now we get to have more project truck videos!

@ManicMechanic007 says:

You pay for this and they give you that. Damn shame right there. I know you'll make it work.

@Brian-nf6bt says:

Well done Jimmy strip it sort it,but my bet is you were late for the family dinner

@alruona2135 says:

Hey Jimmy. Enjoying all your vids why would the previous owner spend time and $ and do a half assed job on an engine rebuild ? Do it correctly or don’t touch it

@bradleysmith6442 says:

Oh damn Jimmy , I feel for you, that kind of aggravation just makes you sick, you have a great attitude towards it though. I have watched all these truck videos I feel your pain. Not near as much as you of course but I have been there. Make it work!

@Toolaholic7 says:

Whoever did that needs their tools taken away.The old Chrysler 440 and 426 Hemi engines,they lost horse power with headers on them.The factory hp manifolds outperformed them

@guyconnell2250 says:

I think it had rust in the cylinders and was bored/honed after the fact. That' what those "stains" are.

@dhonzik says:

How about calling the truck, "Money Pit Sadness"

@188david says:

Jimmy please check the fuel filler cap, not venting, causing too much pressure on needle and seat .A friend of mine lost his cap at gas station Bought replacement at a Carquest ,which was not right ,causing flooding at start up .And then later hydro-lock bent rod ,broken piston and block. A $7.00 cap.

@theinfamousb-ran5729 says:

Ayeee Jimmay!!! Yeah I kinda figured that’s how it would be.

@Scott_69HemiDart says:

Another great project truck video. Glad you made the decision to pull it and go through everything, definitely the right call. Just like the truck when you are done, you know it will be done right and can enjoy the truck more.

@mlieser1230 says:

Considering all the other hokey "engineering" you've encountered with this truck, you might as well check the rotating assembly. The engine is on the stand. You're already swimming in the deep end so you might as well go all the way.
