Buddyrebel Garcia says:

It doesn’t just work on mustangs it works on almost any car. I used this kit on my 2006 Pontiac GTO because I have a fiberglass cowl hood. All you have to do is small modifications. For example, on my 06 GTO I had to trim the big bolts down a bit. I didn’t use the brackets Obviously because this is for a Mustang. Then you just follow the rest of the instructions.

flimflam says:

Aside from looking cool, what purpose do these serve?

1980s Mexican Toretto says:

Im getting some for my 92 Camaro and i never let another person work on my car besides me and sometimes my dad when he insists on helping since he loves cars too but i think for this ill let the professionals do it i just don’t wanna take the risk of ruining it if it was a modern car i would not give a fuck about messing it up but a classic car is gold to me

RecordedPhoenix says:

What if my hood latch barely works at all

Nfifty5 says:

Beautiful clean job. Thanks!.

Shred Fast says:

If I were to install hood pins, which I will do to my sn95, I would put some type of heat string on the stainless steel cable so you won't rash up your hood. As you would imagine riding along would cause the cables to scratch your paint.

-SMP- scientific method perspective says:

I used to think they were stupid and useless, since I already have a good hood latch from the factory, until my hood smashed my front window while I was driving

Ardo says:

What about for a sn95

K&R Motorsports says:

This looks as painful as it was to install my spoiler….. i need it tho with my. Ew fiberglass hood…..

xX*ISSA TL*Xx says:

Anyone know if this would work on a 2010 gt?

Oswaldo Ortega says:

What is the price in Mexican pesos?

quantomic1106 says:

Buy a custom hood with those holes already. If not, drill in your aftermarket hood.

JM Mustangs says:

Nice video rotozip is best way to cut out notches in the plastic cover. I lined up my pin with front contour of hood each side I then seen in directions to run them straight across either way is ok as long as they match.

Liam Lyda says:

Dang, where is that 10mm

ChanMan405 says:

Everything you said in the first 30 seconds just happened to my cousin. Lol now I'm looking for parts and knocking dents out of his roof

Nuday Aday says:

I love watching this guy. I've learned so much from watching CJ Pony parts. I just bought an 04 mustang gt my very first mustang and love it. I just did the steeda short throw shifter and added flow masters. I also fixed the gas pedal height before if was to low to the floor. Next I'm doing the hood pins. Thank to CJ Pony parts for everything.

@cjponyparts: Is there a way to prevent the hole from getting rusted? or the rubbering will do that?

Edward Steinjolt says:

Hoods pins…I ended up installing them on my Mustang….because past 60mph the hood wobbles with the air in such way, it feels its gonna pop any minute!
