Oh my god, this guy is a GENIUS!!!!
Came here to see how we could help you maybe by offering you an Immobilizer bypass upgrade but face-palmed right after minute 3:15.

jack Dale says:

this sounds silly frankly I would just have a dealer fix it
lemon pepper is absurd
there should be some technical explanation ! pls post this on F430 FB groups like F430 owners. we have some electrical engineers there .

jack Dale says:

my question was why not just fix it ! looks like you tried !

Corey Cohen says:

What diameter is the spacer you made? Seems like a perfect opportunity for a 3d printed spacer.

AmyGuillermo Batista says:

Awesome fix!!

Martini Racer says:

FYI, I tried everything, new batteries for the fobs, checked all fuses, replaced the relay, charged the car battery, everything was working perfectly just could not get the car to start, the immobilizer antenna uses a copper wire wrapped many times and I believe the current was causing the metal ignition it is put around to become magnetized causing electromagnetic interference with the signal. By adding a spacer it moved the antenna copper coil away from the metal ignition and stopping the electromagnetic interference from taking place.
