How To Fix A Crash Damaged Supercar PROPERLY !

We have all seen crash damaged supercars being fixed on YouTube but what really happens when you crash a Ferrari. I went to Individual Specialist Cars to find out. While I was there I talked to Andy Couper from Lockton Performance about how your claim would be dealt with.

These are what a a Ferrari should be. They look like a Ferrari, will sound like a Ferrari and look like art as much as a car. The new thing is a stellantis with a fancy badge on. Ferrari have tried to sue people for putting badges on things better than the Luce.

I can’t help but feel there is a not subtle dig at the like ms of MA before you went in the inspection room but I don’t think he tried to make them showroom fresh when he does his. The fact he shows going on eBay and looking for same part / different car parts that are cheaper along with usually doing something to make them non standard (subjective on if you like that or not) so I think it’s doing him a bit of a disservice comparing an ex bmx’er that’s been doing this a few years but has charisma to time served professionally trained on particular cars technicians.

Very well presented and filmed vid as usual.

@gregsanders8498 says:

Fascinating video. Thank you.

@beartr2626 says:

the guy is the perfect face of ferrari, snob and boring.

@cgoad says:

Hi Peter. Isn't it interesting that if (when?) your shiny, new vehicle gets a ding – or worse – for the first time that no matter how beautifully repaired, immaculate even, the vehicle is, it loses some of the pride and joy you had. No car is ever the same to you. People are strange, aren't we?

@jamesarmitage8399 says:

Cheshire Prestige Paintworks…As used by Tyrells workshop. Flawless. As seen on a F40 that they restored!!

@Neil-A-P says:

I was looking for Matt Armstrong comments about shims etc to compensate for misaligned parts. Between him working on Ferraris and now Bugatti the whole aura and mystique of these luxury brands has faded.
Thus companies make threats.

Even PP
And peddlers
Not a fan of those wheel arches especially the gap above them as well

IMO!!!

@davidscarr6553 says:

These must be a CAT 'F'. Just write it off, you can afford it, then it should go to the Ferrari 'Outlet' !!

@barneyrubble9309 says:

If you are in the permitted Ferrari buyers list, you already have more money than sense so the repair cost wont be an issue.

@DW-dd4iw says:

Nice problem to have!!

Beautiful car by-the-way. I love the specs.

@nickrendell4300 says:

Great video on behind the scenes of a Ferrari repair shop.

@solentbum says:

A point to remember about Insurance is that the cost of a car repair, even a Ferrari, is peanuts compared to the cost of repairing a human, never be tempted to cut corners.

@Cheetobum says:

If carrying cost are a problem/concern of owning a particular model then you own the wrong vehicle. Vehicles are a consumable item for most. The few with obsessions of high end vehicles should not be concerned with costs, yes it is that simple

@shakesnbake says:

I love these behind-the-scenes videos! Thank you!

@ezra-schwartz says:

But if you can afford one, would you be worried about the cost of insurance?…

@watchcommander2012 says:

What an absolutely fascinating and interesting video. Well done Ped

@timlewis369 says:
