Dr. Colorchip Kit: http://amzn.to/2z6Ei7X
After a fun drive in the hill country, the Ferrari got some pretty good sized paint chips. I decided to try out the Dr. Colorchip kit which you can get for about $45.
I apologize for the audio feedback. I just realized that it’s being caused by when the camera is close to the fluorescent shop light. I’ll watch for that in future videos.
Great video, awesome car!
Did you paint the bottom front lip?
Wow see how much you love your wife
I bought some of this a few years ago and it was pretty good. Better than I thought as well. NZ Customs don't let us bring it in now. Do you think it's the solution that does all the work or is the paint special? Good video too Dan
I had used ScratchWizard on my S4 which was a similar system, the color didn't match at all and when I tried to remove it, the chemical damaged my clear coat. They refunded me and threw in some extra money to have the clear coat buffed (which did fix it) but the whole experience keeps me from using these kits.
Test it on your wifes Mini first ! Hahaha Classic !
Good job , well explained.
First, sweet car bro. Thanks for the video man- I will probably give this a go on my car.
Oh, liked and sub'd.
Dude you have a dream car, kids grow up dreaming of these things. Use ceramic coating and the rocks will bounce off.
I wish I clear bra my 335 when I bought it so rediculous how easy it is to get chips
Hey Dan, I heard that if you own a Ferrari f430 they recommend that you change the stock headers due to it may cause damage to the engine by the stock headers chipping and getting into the engine, any thought to this?
Thanks for the video, I'm about to order a kit for my car. I got a good lol out of you saying you worked on your wife's car first. 100% don't blame ya!
This guy reminds me of the "Hey, bros… what's up? Just kicking it at my mega mansion & stuuuuf. Got like 435 rooms, and eight pools" dude.
Definitely need to get a clear bra. I have had a few on my cars. Can't tell they are there and will stop this!
Pretty sure you're supposed to do multiple coats until the paint levels are even…
Could be wrong though…
I used drcolorchip and i was impressed…i have a black car and its hard to maintain chips and other scretches…but i came across this product and im glad i did IF YOU GUYS WANT TO SEE THE REVIEW I MADE COME VISIT MY CHANNEL FP2000 and look for dr colorchip video….u will see for your self how great this product is …please stop by
Thank you. I will be doing this on my daily driver….. I am sure you have learned now to never buy a super car without purchasing clear bra.
Picked this up for my s2000, very happy with your results. I'm sure you could use more layers and then some cutting compound to polish it down and buff it out. Looks great though!
IT SEEMS A FAKE FERRARI. NOT ORIGINAL. PROBABLY BUILD OVER A MAZDA.
I got over 10 small paint chips on the side of my truck today sitting at red light when a huge dump truck came through the intersection and passed me hauling ass a couple of feet away. Big trucks should be banned from small local town roads
Nice video! thanks for posting !!!!
Nice Ferrari too !!
Those chips are still very visible due to the paint height difference…have you already looked into using the popular Langka chip repair product which levels the paint as well?
Also are you sure that chemical isn't removing clear coat at the same time it's removing the paint?
Thank you for this review. I was afraid to buy this product until seeing this. I have a black truck. Curious what the results will be like in black. Thanks.
And here I am upset about some chips in my new VW CC. Still, nice, to the point tutorial. I might get a color chip kit. Any tips for light scratches? Wax?
Damn touchless car wash did some minor damage.
