Insurance companies never pay well, and even when they pay at all they stipulate that they get the tittle to the car. Then they sell the recked chassis and make the pennies they paid the owner back. The last owner probably bought the recked chassis back from the insurance company for the coast of his settlement and than sold it to a body shop for a small profit which is the same thing I have/would’ve done. In the US F-40’s are worth $800K – 1M last I checked, I know it’s different over seas.
Wait, they payed 400k as it was?! You could buy a original and, might i add, a fully running, perfect condition F40 here in Europe! Even though values will be different, due to the number of imports made back then to the USA, i still think the original owner must laughed is ass off…don’t forget he must have gotten a pretty well payed by the insurance company!

Amen to that. You shouldn’t pimp the inside. This is a supercar and it should be kept original. That means everything but the color is hands off.
