Well I’m going to miss the superb 458…
Don’t think this is a direct replacement for the 458, it’s probably more
like a heavy facelift like they did with the California T so it’s likely
that the car uses a largely similar 458 chassis but with the different
drivetrain. Engine specs seem very nice though :)
Way too early for a replacement. Hopefully it is more of a refresh, keeping
roughly the same looks and sound of the 458 because it is one of the best.
But there goes one of the last naturally aspirated super cars, PLEASE STOP!

See, this is the problem with being wealthy. As soon as you pick up a 458
they announce something new. Then you have to pick one of your babies to
get rid of, probably the 458 since they are similar, and take a loss on a
recent purchase. Guess it’s fine. Just get black this time.
I love the 458 Italia but this 488 GTB is beautiful. I hope it sounds as
good as the 458
I look forward to buy this car around year 2045 when it is affordable…

Many aren’t happy of engine choice. Ferrari had sometime to get another N/A
model. Too bad they waited too long to release it. EU and others are
clamping down on emissions and efficiency. I like the update to 458. Aero
bits appear to be well placed.
Mclaren’s model should give this a pretty good battle. Let’s hope Ferrari
allows this 488 in some H2H’s with others.
