Good stuff!
The power they had was fine. It wasn’t a race car, but honestly it had more get up than most V8 powered cars of the malaise era, so more than enough.
Yes, the fit and finish and material quality were low, but the price reflected those deficits. I had one, and I’ve dealt with hundreds of them just by the nature of the car transport business I’m in, and they can last a really long time with just basic care. I’ve had plenty of them come through with 250-300k miles, and while those were worn, they still started and drove just fine.
They really weren’t different from say, the Cavaliers of the 90’s in regards to they were cheap cars, that got a bad reputation based not on how long they could potentially last, but more based on premature death caused by being abused like hell and neglected by the low income, ignorant, beat it until it collapses type of customer demographic who were far and away the most likely crowd these cars would rapidly end up in the hands of.
I had one. The battery placement was just terrible. It was on the bottom of the engine compartment, between the driver side wheel well and the firewall.
After listening to Scotty, I knew who it's going to be, one of the three
Just another overweight jellybean lol
They're garbage
Scary that i actually fully agree with one of Scotty's videos. I can't stand Chrysler products.
That was funny Scotty!
Ohh god,
Chrysler products are god awful
They break down so much
It's only taken 20 years to figure this out I figured that out when they were made
