Can someone please help. I have a 2011 Dodge Nitro the alternator was wheezing and then the battery light came on and it wouldn't start. Took to mechanic and he replaced alternator and battery. The battery light would not go off, mechanic told me the voltage regulator was shorted out. Mechanic bought computer and had it programmed not all dashboard lights are on. Please help I'm out of money and car is still not fixed. @fixbook

Did you remove the drive shaft to get up in there? I can’t get that much clearance.
