I like that fire-rescue decal, where did you purchase it?
It’s probably the best undercover light we’ve seen. The light has such a
low profile it fits between the headliner and the windshield, rather than
hanging under like the SuperVisor or other products do. The Pegasus comes
in many vehicle specific designs and the curve of the metal frame perfectly
matches the glass curvature. There is a rubber seal on the front which can
be used to fine tune the fit after installation as well.
Where did you get the visor lights? Thanks
The Lightbar is a Feniex Pegasus which is available at our website.
pythons to grill, fairies to fogs…
The song is one of the sample songs that YouTube lets you use. The name and
artist are in the lower right hand corner of the video. Please let us know
if we can help you out with your install! Thanks for the comment!
Can something similar be done with a 2011 Malibu? And im wondering about
cost. Also I noticed the plates are from Illinois so r u guys in the
Illinois area?
gotcha, i do like it!
would i be able to do this with a 2001 monte carlo?
Awesome … I have a 2013 charger and I am looking to do this but the whole
interior switch box placement is what’s getting me any chance you can email
me some interior pics or upload a video of how I can set everything up?
Awesome install. Looks great! Hows the flashback at night on the Pegasus?
The Fairies were put in the grill temporarily to demo how they could be
used in non-traditional (non-hideaway) methods. This vehicle actually had
wigwag fog lamps, but prior to the video, it hit a possum and broke the
bulb on the passenger side. Rather than have the car winking, we just opted
to turn off the wig wag. Only in Illinois!
It’s not bad. If you mount the lights low enough, they shine through. The
better option would be mounting the lightbar to the rear headliner.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK AT MINE AND COMMENT , THANKS!!
About how much do you have in your light system all together
We had the switchbox mounted in front of the console shifter in the space
below the climate controls. It was a remote head relay unit, so it fit
perfectly. Other options I’ve seen with civilian Chargers is to mount them
inside the cargo compartment in the center console.
Where did you get the stripe on the side?
You can install the universal Lightbar in your Monte Carlo. Nothing else on
this car is vehicle specific. Imagination and budget are the only
limitations!
Yes, we’re located in Normal,IL. The 2011 Malibu would work with the
Universal Pegasus. It takes a little more adjustment but it can be set to
fit virtually any vehicle.
Great set up. Only missing one thing…..Wig Wags!
How does the rear spoiler affect the lighting? I’m also a Vol FF and was
looking at picking up a Charger, but I’m not a big fan of the rear spoiler.
Any adverse effects/does it hinder the rear bar’s lighting?
First off this looks great. What’s the song in this video. It sounds good.
I may be doing similar to my 2011 Malibu
The stripe is a custom graphic from a local sign shop based on the DAYTONA
graphic stripe. Standard black 3M vinyl application.
We had it made at a local sign shop for the customer. It cost around $150.
We went in with the “Daytona” design and said to make it say “Fire-Rescue”
instead and they did a great job with it.
We just did the math on an off the shelf kit of these lights for another
customer with a Charger. The total came to just about $1800, without the
siren/lighting control or switchbox.
Nice light package but you are completely vulnerable to side impacts. I
wouldn’t want to be working an intersection accident in your vehicle. A
good strategy is to always have 360 degree lighting (actually it’s required
in many states) with the option to activate by zones (front, rear, side) so
as not to antagonize/confuse opposing traffic unnecessarily.
