The two “things” on top of the fuel pump are the fuel filter (larger one)
and the fuel pressure regulator. You’ll be doing this again if you mess
either one of them up while re-installing.
How could u tell if ur ram need new fuel pump? Im having a problem on my 98
ram 1500 4×4 cuz when km driving about less rhen 1/4mile my truck just dies
or shuts down and starts right up wn i turn the ignition,do u think i have
a bad fuel pump? Plz save my truck.. Thankx
Instead of the tool you used you can use a strap and tighten it down along
the ring and use a hammer on the ratchet part and break the ring loose and
tighten it the same way.
