What brand is this? Also what codes were you throwing up when you decided
to replace it?
I allready dihis last week 🙂
Hey nice vid! I have a 2000 dodge neon, would a direct fit car converter
fit my neon? I got the code p0420. Or could it be just a simple o2 sensor?
I have a dodge neon that had the california emissions catalytic converter
in florida, I think it is welded to the exhaust header, do you think if i
just buy a new exhaust header and an direct fit cat I would not need to
weld?
first of all check O2 sensors in dodge neon there 2 of them before and
after catalyst… then if this doesn’t help you can try to clean your
existing catalyst by taking him off and putting him overnight in a especial
mixture
florida don’t require it…. you can drive without cat… just kidding….
check engine light is off??
then you will need to patch it a little bite there is a video on my channel
on how to patch to eliminate noise…. because this direct fit oem
aftermarket is a little bit shorter then original catalyst…
if it’s welded directly you cant use direct fit.. you need welder….
Thanks for the video. What symptoms did the car exhibit before the
converter was changed? I suspect my cat is bad, but it’s not displaying any
codes.
that consist of Clorox and some other staff you can watch online on ho to
make it….. then if this doesn’t help … buy new catalyst…. yes direct
fit will feet…
it was shaking a little bit while idle then 2 month after i got error code
