The easy way to replace lifters (lash adjusters) and rocker arms (fulcrum) on a 4.7 and 3.7 liter. Always soak lifters (lash adjusters) in motor oil before installing. This will work for all models. Is this the same as the 4.7 V8 on a Dodge Ram 1500?
2007 Dakota 3.7. I am having a lifter ticking. Should I go ahead and replace all of them while I'm at it, or is it only necessary to replace the bad one? Also, how can I single out the problematic lifter? Never done anything like this before… Most I've ever done to an engine is replace the spark plugs. Thanks for the video!

What kind of moron designs an engine with an OHC, with rocker arm & and lifters? Anyone that got stuck with this p.o.s. should change out their lifters on a regular basis. CLACK CLACK CLACK! What an embarrassment for Chrysler.
What a good video. So is there any adjustments required for doing a swap out, or is this just a straight replacement. I would have no idea how to set things if that’s required. I’d have to do a whole bunch more research on how to do that. lol. 2007 Jeep Liberty with the 3.7.
Great technique,almost every video on YouTube shows having to remove or loosen camshaft bolts in order to accomplish this, hope I can do it this way on my 2016 Dodge Charger 3.6.

Do you think I can replace lifter and rocker arm same way as your 4.7 L? I am not sure whether I could rotate the cam using Harmonic balancer to expose the rocker arm and lifter. Some people says I could damage timing chain if I rotate harmonic balancer. So I don't have to touch cam shaft and can phaser etc Thanks a lot for your time.
