Finally Scotty said something positive about a car I own… 2004 1500 72k miles runs like a champ..Was the last year of the Hemi without the cylinder shut off I believe.
Love my 2005 Durango 5.7 Hemi Magnum!! Will drive this for another 20 years, so dependable and almost lifts the front tires off the ground.
I have a 2006 facelift hemi with 348,100 miles on it without any rebuilds. I like how you mention this 2004 isn’t old enough to have a cassette deck but my 2006 does along with that 6 disc CD player lol
I have a 02 with a 5sp stick . 250,000 on the 4.7 v8 and love it !!
I have a 2000 Dodge DAKOTA (magnum 6 ) best vehicle I have ever owned ! 23 yrs later no problems!
The Old EGR Valves Never wore out, if they got gummed up, just rinse them with solvent and they worked like New…
I still got my 04 2500. Hemi with the 5 speed manual, only one I've seen.
I have had my share of vehicles in my life I had 3 brand new ford pickups and after each one I said I will never buy another but stupid is as stupid does I have had 4 dodges the first was a 74 dart swinger when I was a kid and loved that car then a 99 dakota last year of the 318 factory order I loved it but to small for the family then a 09 Cherokee which was real nice if I had a complaint it was only a 6cly, now I have a 2012 Ram 2500 bought new and I am pretty happy with it 5.7 hemi just wish it was a standard and still manual locks on the front hubs with a hand shift instead of a switch just personal desire.
ZF better than Toyota. Ach Tung ! BABY
Just bought a Toyota crown and I love it too much
I don't know anyone with a bad Hemi from 2003 to now, all have well over 100k.
My dodge is 20yrs+ still going.., idk wth your smoking svptty
hey Scotty, whats your opinion on the 2023 durango R/T's?? im torn between getting a durango or a 2023 4runner for a family vehicle. i know toyota has the reliability but i cant get past the v8 growl and the better interior of the 2023 durangos
My grandpa had a 2003 5.7 4×4. Traded it in 2012 for a brand new Grand caravan because my grandma complained about getting up and down out of it. He traded that 3 years later for a 2015 bighorn
I have not liked Dodge Products Since the K Cars Tried to Kill Me and My Family back in the 1980's. I don't drive now.
It was a real treat seeing you turn wrenches
I worked as a toolmaker for Newark Assy. for Chrysler Corp. from 93 to 09 when the plant closed.Chrysler never needed Daimler Benz. The company was doing fine with 8 billion in cash reserve at the time of the "takeover" When Daimler took over they took away as many improvements that had been made on the vehicle as they could get away with. For just a few examples they eliminated some inspection on the final line ,did away with the color coordinated running boards, eliminated reinforcement brackets in the under-body and also did away with the shipping tape? that you normally only see on expensive vehicles. They actually cheapened the Dodge Durango. I was there.
Love to see you with the tools, Mr Scotty!
That’s the pre Eagle headed Hemi that was dropping valve seats.
225 or a 318? LOL
This Smart Device Will Make Your Engine Run Like New Again… It's called a 94 Celica.
2006 Dodge Dakota owner here. 4.7l V8 with a 6spd manual. It's almost dead because I was rough on it and i bought it used. Wish I could find another.
the 2004 Dodge Status I had used to stall out alot. That world famous 2.7 V6 engine was a nightmare. Worst car I ever had
The transmission in that truck is technically a 6 speed. Mechanically it's basically the same as the 65RFE, but instead of using all 6 gears, two of them take turns being 2nd gear depending on whether you are towing, or if the shift is an up or down shift.
Had a single cab one of these as my first truck. Drove it like a teenager for around 70,000 miles and never had any real issues I can recall besides an exhaust hangar breaking.
God he's good
