And that is why I do what I do, save as many older model cars, trucks, and motorcycles as i can and hopefully pass on this knowledge to the next generation. Giving our customers the safety and most reliable vehicles possible as we go. The money is cool but it isn't why i do this.

@amonnanjaku says:

If all the parts are already there and you have sufficient hourly rates…. Then it's all $$$.

Now if parts are on order(still) or missing… Then that's when the pain starts.

@jlhicks6517 says:

As long as u have a good service writer they understand the extent of the repair and not rushing you it makes it better

@Strain_Studios says:

I’d rather dump 15k into an older rig, than dump 90k into a new one

@christophermaldonado1777 says:

Auto tech of 15 years. Yes youre getting paid, but there are some of those cars out there that you really dont want to do, but it will get done no matter what. It depends on the shop you work at. My worst day at my current shop is 100x better than my best day at some of the old shops i worked at

@zachariahrich3354 says:

I mean, you're getting paid. The customer did not argue, so trusts you. All new parts. Idk man seams like you need a career change.
