Is the fan supposed to run constantly? Mine does… 2006…and I figure something is wrong. Last owner mentioned replacing the water pump so I'm thinking maybe it was put back on wrong or maybe clutch seized?
What are the symptoms of a bad fan clutch
Is there a difference with the max cooling one and the regular one? You put a regular one on when the old one was max cooling, has the gap between the fan nut
Lol i took an adjustable wrench and a hammer, you don’t need an air chisel
Upgrade fan clutch on dodge ram's at least make them sound like a air tunnel or diesel truck they sound and run horrible.
Diesel is reverse thread from gas engine!
You can use a 36mm wrench and smack it with a hammer to break the nut loose. You don’t need a fancy snap on air hammer to remove it. Don’t get discouraged. Also an big adjustable wrench works to.
Much easier if you remove the fan shroud first.
Wow I came back and watched this more and A1 really dropped the ball with this guy.
Impossible without air chisel… I might mess up my pedi
I tapped my 36mm wrench with a hammer and the nut come loose, as you suggested I did it while belt was in place.
no washers under those lock washers? nit picking but still haha
Now the hell got them tools bro
you can use an 1-7/16" wrench and smack it with a hammer while the belt is still attached. Ive done that before when i changed the water pump
What's the name of that tool
