My automatic door lock on my 2006 dodge ram monster mile edition had been action up for a while. At one point it was making very loud screeching noises when locking and unlocking.
I found a replacement door lock actuator on amazon for around $70. I’m pretty happy with it so far. It is a little bit noisier then the other locks.
The project took me about 30 minuets to complete.

Your video worked great for me. I did initially had a problem after tightening down the mechanism screws too tight which would not allow the key or push/pull lock to freely move. I backed off the screws and all worked well.
