This is happening to me

Casey Dietrich says:

This is happening to my screen right now in my challenger. I took it in and they're trying to tell me it's cracked, not defective, not covered, and want $1400 to replace. Even underhanded suggested I damaged it myself.

Paul Parker says:

I had a crazy ass thing happen to my dodge journey. We parked for the night locked the doors and went inside we were woke up that night by a huge electrical storm I mean huge didn't think much about it until I the next morning got in my car went to change the air and the screen was cracked. We were parked under a tree but the tree didn't look like it was struck by lightning and nobody else was in the car I know this because we have cameras pointing at our cars. Insurance or warranty won't do anything to replace it so its all on us has anyone else had this happen your screen crack out of nowhere?

Mason Droge says:

This ain’t rare happening to all of them . Had to fight to get mine fixed under warranty

Nikita Lazarenko says:

Jack Hewitt says:

Hi mate I have exactly same issue your LCD screen just looks like mine but mine. And mine is 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Any chance you can provide with the link that you purchased the LCD screen from it please. Cheers

douglasjennings09 says:

This is a common KNOWN problem with the first Gen Uconnect radios. It will be covered by warranty and if you do not have a warranty all you need to do is call Ram corporate and speak with the Uconnect team. The condition is called Delamination of the screen. This happened to mine I had no warranty left and they still replaced it at no cost to me. Do not mess with the radio until you have tried these 2 options first otherwise you will be stuck with the cost of replacing or repairing it yourself and the radio is priced at almost 1200 dollars as of June of 2020 when I went to check on mine.
