This video outlines how to repair a leaking hydroboost unit which is an extremely common problem on many Chrysler vehicles including Ram and Cummins pickup trucks. A rebuilt unit is $200+, and the seal that actually causes the leak is only $9.99 shipped on eBay. This is a repair that can be done by the average DIY consumer, it’s very easy. It took me about 2 hours, while also filming although I had a few hands to help. If you are experiencing a power steering leak that is coming from near the firewall, in between the hydroboost and the brake master cylinder, chances are this seal is the issue!
