How to remove & replace exhaust manifold bolts/gaskets on 6.7 Dodge Cummins

We’re going to be showing how to remove and replace the exhaust manifold bolts and gaskets on a 2007-2018 6.7 Liter Dodge Cummins diesel. This job is commonly done when the exhaust manifold bolts break, which causes an exhaust leak.

In the video, we show how to do the job without draining the coolant, which makes removing and replacing more difficult, but makes it easier not having to deal with the coolant later on.

How long do you think this whole process takes? Lower portion of my manifold that bolts to turbo is leaking "square gasket"

Awesome video thats what happened to me exactly broken bolt same place but I have a quick question for you guys is it necessary to put back the exhaust manifold locks? Thanks

Serge M says:

Just wondering if you ever put those locking tabs on the two back exhaust bolts? When i did mine it was a pain in the butt to put those back on there and I ended up leaving the bottom one out. No wonder those bolts break cuz they attach that coolant hard line to the back stud which adds more stress on the bolt. I suggest cutting that coolant attachment tab off and just leave the hard line off of that poor back manifold bolt. Merican engineering for ya lol. Good luck everyone!
