How much coolant did you have to put in?

Ken Binns says:

Christian Warner says:

I don't want to give this video a thumbs down but it took much, much more than a ratchet, pipe wrench, and a hammer to get my fan clutch off. I had to remove my fan shroud, water pump, and cooling fan as one unit then take the water pump and fan to the auto parts store to separate them on the counter there. I was then able to reinstall on the new water pump as mentioned. Great editing and step by steps, the rest of the video was on point.

Tim Hawk says:

Very well done… the video I mean. Thanks for the details.

Are all the screws the same or is some shorter? If shorter where do they go, top or bottom?

Will this video apply to a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi as well?

Great video, I just had mine replaced for $362. I could have done it over the weekend I think but was pressed for time, headed to work and had to be done quick. Maybe I can check out some your other videos.

Little Homie says:

I have a 2011 5.7 Hemi Ram. I want to do a simple flush & fill of the coolant. My fill bottle is at the front of the truck & is black plastic. I can't tell how much coolant to put in as I see no high or low mark. How do I keep from over or under filling it. Thanks

Excellent instruction video. Everything very clear . Taking that fan off was murder before I saw your simple method. A lot of profanity was avoided following the way you did it.Many thanks

This video was amazing and saved me a lot of time and money.  Thank you so much for posting it.  I'll be sure to keep an eye out for more of your videos when I need to work on my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 and any other of my vehicles.  I really liked the cardboard screw diagram idea.  It kept me from ending up with "extra" parts like I normally do lol.

John Scrogham says:

I'm not much of a mechanic but this video was perfect. Everything went as outlined in the video and I was able to do it without any problems. Thank you very much!
