John Spiker says:

I have a 08' Chrysler Aspen. I am replacing the motor in mine as well, I'm having a problem getting the driveshaft removed from the transfer case. Seems I don't have enough room, can't let it drop cause of a crossmember in front by the axle there and it Only goes up so far. Any suggestions??

LTG network says:

hey, I've got a 2010 dodge ram 1500, I did this install with a new motor and it shifted again, I shitfed into 4Low but now it is stuck into 4LOW and can't shift out of it.
I've tried reversing it into neutral wen crawling forward or in revers but nothing gets it out off 4Low, is the motor bad again or something else ? ( I order a new switch to now !!)
any one has any Idea ? cause the truck is sitting at home still.

Nitrous blast 365 says:

Will this be the same applies for a 05 Dodge Durango but how can a used transfer case motor be tested too see if it works properly?

Mario Arellano says:

Great video and very helpful, but after repaled the shift motor, how do you reset the SVC 4×4 ligth.

MICHAEL LUCIANO says:

Just a note: I replaced mine today, there was no need to remove the driveshaft on a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500, ALSO WHAT THEY DO NOT MENTION IN THIS VIDEO IS IN ORDER TO GET THE "SPLINE" TO TURN BACK INTO THE POSITION OF TWO WHEEL DRIVE YOU MUST BLOCK THE WHEELS PUT THE E-BRAKE ON AND START THE TRUCK UP, THEN PUT IT IN NEUTRAL BEFORE TRYING TO TURN THE SPLINE OTHERWISE IT WILL NOT TURN….. I WILL SAVE YOU ALL A BUNCH OFF HASSLE.

Michael St. Denis says:

How can you tell if the transfer case motor is no good?

Joe Kelderman says:

there is a recall on the dodge home site , 4 wheel lock up intermitent , even when you did not want to use it

M773 says:

drive shafts are ballanced off of the truck, it doesnt matter how you mount it to the transfer case or diff

Anthony101 Carrubba says:

Ok so how do I how if I need a transfer case motor or actuator? I get four wheel high but wont engage into four wheel low ….2010 Dodge Ram 1500 sport 4×4 5.7 hemi

Robert Haney says:

I have a 2004 Dodge Durango. I know this isn't the same year, but I just changed all the transmission fluid and placed a new gasket on there. Immediately after that, my vehicle is switching into 4×4 lock on its own, randomly. Could this be the cause? Some research suggests it could also be the A/C low pressure switch. Could either of these cause this issue?
