I cant find a good guide for a 94 Concorde… I have my belt off for the
A/C unit (small belt with the up/down adjustable pully) but stuck everyone
stops there and I don’t know if I’m missing something o

Kristian Rader says:

Is this the same for a dodge stratus?

PinkOld says:

Sincerely, thanks for actually responding…and QUICKLY. Been there, done
that. There’s a sliding idler pulley under the power steering pump that
serves that purpose. Already loosened it and removed the old belt. Problem
is, I can’t get the new belt back on for some insane reason! And, yes, just
to be 100% certain, I compared the old belt to the new one for length, and
made sure to route it the same was as before. No dice. Double 🙁

Good car Good engine, but no space !

PinkOld says:

Would you be able to show how to replace the serpentine belt for the 2001
Dodge Stratus SE (2.4L SOHC)? It’s an oddball version of the Stratus, and
only 7% of them made used this engine. I replaced the alternator belt (this
car takes two belts), but I am stumped when it comes to getting the new
power steering/AC serpentine belt on, no matter how hard I try. 🙁

nice,kinda hidden there

1A Auto Parts says:

You should be able to apply some of the basic steps taken in this video to
your car. There should be a belt routing diagram in your engine bay.

PinkOld says:

I already have the Haynes manual, and I can assure you that it does NOT
show how to do it on my particular model. Mine is an oddball, and all the
descriptions it shows are for the DOHC version, not the SOHC. I know what
I’m talking about all too well. I’m really dejected now.

HI Joe, We currently do not have an auto repair video with this particular
repair. If you have an auto repair manual for the vehicle it should be
covered in there. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

1A Auto Parts says:

There should be a belt tensioner that hold tension somewhere on that belt.
If you can find it, you should be able to release it and service the belt.

1A Auto Parts says:

We currently do not have an auto repair video on this particular motor. If
you have a Haynes or a Chiltons manual it should show you how to do perform
this task. We carry the Haynes manuals on our website with FREE SHIPPING
