We currently do not have an auto repair video that shows that particular
repair. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

CBRFRENZIE says:

Do you have any videos on a Durango doing a fuel injector replacement.. I
got a 2001 Durango 5.9 SLT Plus.. done the tune up, got rid of po300 and
po306 remains.. I’d like to do a fuel injector change if you have a how to
video..

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check for a loose connection somewhere in the wiring. If
you haven’t done this already, clean up the battery terminals too, so that
it’s making good contact with the battery cables. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

Dakota Morrow says:

My 99durango 5.9 has been dying out going down the road. I replaced
alternator, battery, field pump , crank shaft sensor, starter,tuned-up,
idle air control sensor… Could it be the ignition coil?? I’m running out
of ideas,,, and almost everything has been replaced.

sethwerley says:

I’ve heard a lot of times when there’s a heavy amount of moisture in the
air the coils on Chrysler vehicles have problems.. My 99 Dakota has been
doing the same type of thing recently.

1A Auto Parts says:

@BrianO65122 You may want to start with the simpler things first like
checking the battery to make sure it’s good and that the battery terminals
are clean.

1aauto makes some of the best repair videos out there. Thanks guys!

hmsbratx says:

Thank you so much for your video…… I am going right now to the store to
buy one new coil and exchange, God bless you.

LNYT1 says:

Did you ever figure this out, I have same problem including clicking from
glove box or radio area?

1A Auto Parts says:

The first this that should be checked is that there is fuel and spark to
the engine. When you turn the key on see if you can hear the fuel pump kick
on.

alexmexqt says:

Kaylyn Hamilton says:

04 Durango. My truck will not start. I have had the starter, alternator,
battery, Key and remote start tested and it still wont start. They are now
saying it may be the WCM but that the part is back ordered for about 6-10
weeks. has anyone else had an issue like this with their durango and can
maybe help me out with suggestions or encouraging me that it might actually
be the WCM. Im starting to feel like Dodge is screwing us.

brandon woldsnes says:

Quick question for ya. My coil on my 2001 Dodge Ram 5.9L is sparking
between the pack and the exposed metal “C” part. I replaced it yesterday
and it’s still doing it. Is this normal?

Alexis Dominguez says:

I NEED HELP PLEASE! MY DURANGO SPORT HAS POBLEMS TRURNING ON AND IT HEATS
UP QUICK! AND I NEED TO WATER EVERYTHING I LEAVE PLEASE HELP ME OUT! THANK
YOU!

Ken Stewart says:

My 98 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2 would just die while driving with no warning. I
found the wire harness that plugs into the coil had frayed wires and kept
spiking the coil causing it to die out. Replaced the coil because it has
been spiked so many times and repaired the wire harness – been fine since.

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the starter to see if it’s hanging up when you try to
start it. If it’s a manual you could try to jump start it with the clutch,
that would by-pass the starter and point you in a direction that it may be
the issue. Hope this helps you out.

1A Auto Parts says:

It may be fine once everything dries out.

1A Auto Parts says:

@trailKING651 HI, There shouldn’t be any kind of an arc or a spark that
jumps anywhere outside of the coil pack. That more than likely would make
the vehicle run rough.

DarylAnneCoenen says:

hello my name is DA im not sure what to do here. i had my battery tested
and the altnator tested it puts out 15 watts and replaced the battery and
it still wont start we get clicking from what sounds like the glove box or
the radio but my problem is it wont start i just recenly started watching
these videos racking my mind to figure out what it could be think you could
help? could it be electrical

BrianO65122 says:

Hey, it’d be great if you could answet this for me! I have a 2001 Dodge Ram
Magnum. We had our first snowfall today and it wont start, I was wondering
if it was the ignition coil?

1A Auto Parts says:

There should only be a couple of screws that hold it in place.

1A Auto Parts says:

You may want to check the level of the radiator fluid for starters (make
sure truck is cold), Also see if the fan kicks on when the truck is up to
temperature.
